« The reception did't work good. The electric barrier did't open the evening, also for other campers. The emergency phone of the camping was not attended, this all days!! Information about wifi was given only step by step. »

« Fantastic site with a chilled and relaxing atmosphere. First class facilities and great cycling on the quiet roads through the vineyards. Saint Emilion is a must to visit too. »

« So pleased that we found this campsite. We stayed for 3 nights, all the staff were friendly, the bar/restaurant area was lovely to sit and relax in the evening. We took our e-bikes up to the medieval village of St Emilion which took us passed the fields of grape vines on the way and the village itself it not to be missed , it’s beautiful and interesting. On site there is a fishing lake where you can just grab a canoe (or similar craft) and row peacefully around watching the fishermen or the ducks or the colourful dragonflies. The pitches are a good size, well maintained and reasonably private. We definitely stop here again. »

« Great site in a lovely location. We enjoyed the swimming pools and slides. Restaurant was ok - but need to book. On the Saturday they were turning people away even for take-outs. Staff were working hard, just not enough of them. »

« Very well managed site. Restaurant (we ate twice in a four night stay) was excellent. Friendly staff. Navette to St Emilion very much appreciated so we could enjoy a bottle of wine with our lunch and not have to drive ourselves. Pools fabulous. »

« Lovely site in gorgeous setting, few issues with cleanliness of chalet on arrival (had to sweep floors, linen and mattress covers marked). No obvious cleaning done in between guests. Pool area lovely, never too busy, very clean. Good sports area and lake where canoes/pedalos free. Perfect level of evening entertainment for us. Really nice bar/restaurant. »

« Intial impression was not good as we were unhappy with pitch allocated to us and receptionist did not resolve. Facilities however were satisfactory and location within the St Emil-lion area good. A more personal approach by staff would have helped improve our stay. »

« We booked this site expecting a relaxing break. Instead, we left early after an encounter with the manager that was so aggressive and intimidating it set the tone for the rest of our stay — and not in a good way. Within a short time of arriving, an interaction with the manager left us feeling genuinely unsettled. The tone was confrontational from the outset, with no attempt at courtesy or de-escalation. No guest should have to feel intimidated by the person running the place they're paying to stay at. Given how uncomfortable this made us, we made the decision to cut our trip short and find alternative accommodation. To their credit, the receptionist we spoke to was sympathetic and professional, and explicitly agreed to process a refund for the 5 unused nights once we vacated. That's where any goodwill ends. Having packed up and moved on the site then refused point-blank to honour the refund we'd been promised in person. A campsite is only as good as how it treats the people staying there, and on both fronts — the conduct of management and the handling of a straightforward refund request — this one failed comprehensively. We would strongly caution anyone considering booking here. There are plenty of sites that will treat you, and your money, with basic respect. This isn't one of them. »

« We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean campsite and friendly staff. Facilities were great, and beautiful location. The restaurant was fabulous and we ate there many times. »

« Its a beautiful site in a lovely area. Our pitch was very uneven and when it rained, it was a mudbath . The shop has a very poor stock. The bar is very expensive but food was lovely in the restaurant. The shuttle into Saint Emilion only goes once a day. We were told the wrong time in reception and when we turned up at the time we were told, it had left. No apology and when we saw the driver return, we asked if he could drop us in and offered to pay but were told 'we are not a taxi service '. It cost us €17 euro for 3kms by Uber. Overall, we were disappointed but would return but better prepared with food supplies and bikes. »

« Great. Brilliant location, amidst vineyards with easy cycling into St Emilion itself and good routes for cycling from the front of the campsite. The best roti chicken takeaway i've ever tasted and good restaurant. Nice to have the lake. Good facilities. The pool irritated my skin but was okay for my wife and son. »
