Here, we believe unforgettable holidays go hand in hand with protecting our beautiful planet. And since we’re on the road to earning the Clef Verte (Green Key) label, we need your help to keep your stay 100% fun and 0% waste.
No pressure: we’re not asking you to become a full-time eco-hero (although that would be cool ;-) ), just to adopt a few simple but powerful eco-gestures!
Together for a responsible holiday
We’re counting on you to team up with us — every small action matters.
Who knows? You might head home with great habits… along with great memories!
Waste sorting: it’s easy as pie
- Recycling bins are available at the dedicated collection area near the campsite entrance (for packaging, glass, and general waste).
- Compost isn’t just for pros! We’ve got a compost zone ready for your peelings, coffee grounds, and eggshells (instructions on site).
- Got batteries, light bulbs or other special waste? Drop them off at reception.
Water is precious
- Short showers = big impact (plus more time for our wine tastings!).
- Turn off taps while brushing your teeth or soaping your hands.
- Dual flush toilets: use the right one for the right need (we trust you).
- Spotted a leak? Let the Yelloh Team know right away!
Electricity: stay switched on… to energy saving
- Turn off lights and devices when you leave, even if it’s just for 5 minutes.
- Heating or air conditioning? Avoid mixing indoor summer with outdoor winter.
- Golden rule: heating max 22°C, air con min 21°C.
Respect nature and its wild residents
- Stick to the paths and don’t trample the flowerbeds.
- Don’t pick the plants — take photos, not petals.
- Wild animals aren’t toys: admire them from afar.
Move differently
- Discover the surroundings on foot or by bike — great for you and for the planet.
- A free shuttle takes you to Saint-Émilion: sign up at reception.
Shop and eat local
- Taste local products — fewer food miles, more flavour!
- Fancy some shopping? Support local artisans and shopkeepers.
- Visit our “local” corner at the campsite grocery store.

Mission #1: Turn off the lights when you leave a room Even bulbs need a break sometimes!
Mission #2: Quick showers save the day! Water is precious… and you’ll have more playtime after!
Mission #3: Sort your rubbish like a pro Yellow bin, green bin, grey bin… It’s a fun colour game!
Mission #4: Don’t throw anything on the ground Nature isn’t a bin! Trees, birds, squirrels and more will thank you.
Mission #5: Don’t pick the flowers They’d rather stay in nature than in your pocket.
Mission #6: Walk or pedal — it’s more fun! You might spot funny bugs or fluttery butterflies on the way.
Mission #7: Discover tasty local products Cheese, fruit, Saint-Émilion macarons… Yum!
